LA CHAMBER

Hello friend --

B1_C4C.pngCollege-bound students and tech companies converge at Cash for College
More than 6,000 high school and community college students and their families descended upon Los Angeles Trade Technical College for the L.A. Area Chamber and UNITE-LA's 15th annual Cash for College College & Career Convention on Nov. 4-5. This year's roster of L.A. tech companies in attendance doubled in size from last year, with newcomers like Dollar Shave Club and mitú adding to the diverse mix of those represented throughout exhibit booths and career panels focused on tech, digital media and entrepreneurship. See the day's stills here. We want to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation to these 16 companies that showcased their career opportunities and commitment to helping create an educated and skilled talent pipeline for L.A. students:

During National Entrepreneurship Month, I want to share with you what the Chamber is doing to ensure that L.A. builds on its fastest growing entrepreneurial sector: technology.” Read Chamber CEO Gary Toebben’s full blog post here.
